Hello one and all! Happy New Year. Isn’t it great to have a fresh year? I’m hoping that this year will be the best 2007 ever! Bethany and I had a lot of fun over the holidays with friends and family. Here are some pictures we took with our friend's new laptop. Here's Bethany looking a lot like a cute sad puppy, about to cry.
Here's me looking like a crazy hungry monkey.
(Not a very flattering picture of the teeth I'm a little self conscious about.)
Here's what we normally look like, just for a reference. Laughs were had by all. This past month has been full of adventure for us. Bethany is done at Starbucks and doing well with her Russian studies. She’s kicking my butt actually. It’s been good to spend a little more time together to pray, and try to transition into this next chapter of our life together.
God has made things so easy for us as we’ve been getting ready. We sold our car back to the dealer for the exact amount we owe. This is great because they paid 20% more than the going rate according to our friend who is also a car dealer. I wonder if I should have taken the Lexus sticker off the hood…
The Canadian family in Ukraine that is renting an apartment to us are doing tons of renovations and they hope to have it ready for when we come. Click here to see how it looked before they started and where they are at now.
Now all that we are waiting for is our passports and visas to come together. It looks like this part of the process will take longer than what we hoped and we’ll have to push back our take off date to around Feb. 18th. (Approximately)
Stay tuned for more updates!
